Please note this is different than the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). You will also need printing capabilities for many assignments. Dr Java can run on all platforms: Windows, Mac OS, Linux. This page describes how you may set up the environment on your personal computer.

You need to install this platform or some other compatible Java Development Environment on your personal computer. Dr Java will be the development environment used in this course.
